- Go to srd.sassa.gov.za
- Go to SASSA Cancellation Portal
- At the bottom of the page, select Cancel My Application TAB
- Click on Click Here to Cancel Online
- Provide your details in the window that has popped up.
- Now, you enter your registered ID number and Phone Number
- Select the Send PIN option and an SMS with SASSA OTP Code will be sent on your phone number.
- After you enter SASSA OTP Code, and it is verified, you will proceed further.
- When you click on the “Cancel My Grant” option, a message will pop up: “Are you sure to cancel your grant application?”
- Click ‘Yes’.
- After you complete these steps, you will be notified via SMS on the registered Phone Number that ‘Your request to cancel SASSA Grant has been sent.’
Time Taken To Cancel SASSA Grant
Within 7 days, you will get a response about the online appeal for the cancellation of your SASSA Grant. After the termination of grant, you will not be a beneficiary of the SASSA R350 Grant or SASSA Social Grant. Through SASSA Status Checker, you can confirm the Cancellation online. You can now pursue a government job as you are eligible.
